Iram Ghufran is a filmmaker and artist working in moving image, sound and text. Her work has been shown in several international art and cinematic contexts including the Berlin Film Festival, Experimenta India, New York Indian Film Festival and SAARC Film Festival among others. She is currently pursuing a PhD by practice at the Centre for Research and Education in Arts and Media, University of Westminster, London.


Ghufran Iram

Iram Ghufran is a New Delhi based filmmaker and artist working on moving image, sound and text. In 1998, she graduated from Lucknow University with a Bachelor degree in arts, and then proceeded in pursuing master education in Jamia Millia Islamia University. As a member of the Media Lab at Sarai CSDS between 2004 and 2011, Ghufran was part of several experimental and multi-disciplinary processes and collaborations.


Gong Jow-Jiun

Born 1966 in Chayi, Taiwan. In 1998, Gong graduated from the Department of Philosophy of the National Taiwan University with his dissertation Dialectics between Body and Imagination: Nietzsche, Husserl, Merleau Ponty. After teaching positions at several universities in Taiwan, in 2007, he was appointed associate professor and director of the doctoral program in art creation and theory at the Tainan University of the Arts. From 2009, he also organized the quarterly art magazine Art Critique in Taiwan (ACT), as chief editor and chairman and established it as a public journal.


George Ginella

Ginella George is a Conservation Architect and is Asst. Professor at Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture, Mumbai. She has done her masters in Urban Conservation and has always been interested in historic areas and their relevance, functionality and transformation in present times especially in the city of Mumbai. Through her research and academic explorations this has been a particular area of interest among larger urban concerns. She has authored and presented papers pertaining to heritage, history and urban areas.


Gupte Rupali

Rupali Gupte is an architect and urbanist practicing and teaching in Mumbai. She is interested in the contemporary urban condition and a cross disciplinary investigation of this phenomenon. She locates her practice at the juncture of this inquiry.

She has received her Bachelors degree in Architecture from the Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute of Architecture (KRVIA) (1998), and her Masters degree from Cornell University (2003) She has also been a Fellow at The KRVIA and at SARAI-CSDS, Delhi.


Ghosh Dhrupadi

Dhrupadi Ghosh was born in 1984, Kolkata, India. Her academic career shaped in Santiniketan, Visva-bharati. Technically she is a sculptor. Further did her study from Villa Arson, Nice. She got to work in City as Studio, Sarai. Which was one of the most crucial steps not to step back with the process she was injected with.

Gao Shiming

Gao Shiming is the director of the School of Inter-media Art at China Academy of Art. In the past years, he has founded the Center of Visual Culture Research, Institute of Contemporary Art and Social Thoughts, as well as Research and Development Center of Media City in China Academy of Art. His focal points are visual cultural research, contemporary art studies, curatorial study and social thought.
