Lu Xing-Hua

Lu Xing-Hua is associate proffesor of the Department of Philosophy, Tongji University, China. He has been working on French radical political thinking and been the major promoter of Derrida, Badiou, Rancière in the Chinese academia. His recent book, Shared Contingencies (2009), is an effort to interconnect an intense interrogation on the Western parliamentary-capital democracy in contemporary French political thinking and the deliberations of the Chinese olitical democracy to come. He is currently finishing a book about what the radical politics proposed by Badiou, Zizek and Agamben could mean to Chinese readers.
